Stonefields was built on the old Mount Wellington quarry, with most homes going up from the late 2000s onwards. It was planned as a mix of standalone homes, terraced houses and apartments, so many gardens here are compact, with courtyards, box hedges and boundary plantings that look best with regular, tidy trims.
